Then I beat them as small as the dust of the earth. I crushed them as the mire of the streets, and spread them abroad.


Let my adversaries be clothed with dishonor. Let them cover themselves with their own shame as with a robe.


Why should the nations say, *Where is their God, now?*


Then I beat them small as the dust before the wind. I cast them out as the mire of the streets.


Let them be disappointed and confounded together who rejoice at my calamity. Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor who magnify themselves against me.


As with a sword in my bones, my adversaries reproach me, while they continually ask me, *Where is your God?*


My tears have been my food day and night, while they continually ask me, *Where is your God?*


The righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance. He shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked;


Why should the nations say, *Where is their God?* Let it be known among the nations, before our eyes, that vengeance for your servants' blood is being poured out.


The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree. He will grow like a cedar in Levanon.


The LORD, your hand is lifted up, yet they don't see; but they will see your zeal for the people, and be disappointed. Yes, fire will consume your adversaries.


*I have raised up one from the north, and he has come; from the rising of the sun, one who calls on my name; and he shall come on rulers as on mortar, and as the potter treads clay.


For, behold, I have made you small among the nations, and despised among men.

But don't look down on your brother in the day of his disaster, and don't rejoice over the children of Yehudah in the day of their destruction. Don't speak proudly in the day of distress.


Now many nations have assembled against you, that say, *Let her be defiled, and let our eye gloat over Tziyon.*


Don't rejoice against me, my enemy. When I fall, I will arise. When I sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light to me.


The LORD has taken away your judgments. He has thrown out your enemy. The King of Yisra'el, the LORD, is in the midst of you. You will not be afraid of evil any more.


They shall be as mighty men, treading down muddy streets in the battle; and they shall fight, because the LORD is with them; and the riders on horses will be confounded.


Your eyes will see, and you will say, *The LORD is great--even beyond the border of Yisra'el!*


You shall tread down the wicked; for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I make,* says the LORD of Armies.


He trusts in God. Let God deliver him now, if he wants him; for he said, 'I am the Son of God.'*


For the Kena`anim and all the inhabitants of the land will hear of it, and will compass us round, and cut off our name from the earth: and what will you do for your great name?


*Rejoice over her, O heaven, you holy ones, emissaries, and prophets; for God has judged your judgment on her.*
