You have taken my friends from me. You have made me an abomination to them. I am confined, and I can't escape.


When therefore they were gathered together, Pilate said to them, *Whom do you want me to release to you? Bar-Abba, or Yeshua, who is called Messiah?*


Now the chief Kohanim and the elders persuaded the multitudes to ask for Bar-Abba, and destroy Yeshua.


Pilate said to them, *What then shall I do to Yeshua, who is called Messiah?* They all said to him, *Let him be crucified!*


*But when the farmers saw him, they reasoned among themselves, saying, 'This is the heir. Come, let's kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.'
