To them he said, 'You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.' So they went their way.
Yeshua answered them, *I also will ask you one question, which if you tell me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things.
Yeshua went out from the temple, and was going on his way. His talmidim came to him to show him the buildings of the temple.
In that hour Yeshua said to the multitudes, *Have you come out as against a robber with swords and clubs to seize me? I sat daily in the temple teaching, and you didn't arrest me.
He was teaching daily in the temple, but the chief Kohanim and the scribes and the leading men among the people sought to destroy him.
It happened on one of those days, as he was teaching the people in the temple and preaching the Good News, that the Kohanim and scribes came to him with the elders.
When they had stood them in the middle of them, they inquired, *By what power, or in what name, have you done this?*
But he who did his neighbor wrong pushed him away, saying, 'Who made you a ruler and a judge over us?
