Pride only breeds quarrels, but with ones who take advice is wisdom.


When the ten heard it, they were indignant with the two brothers.


Yeshua summoned them, and said to them, *You know that they who are recognized as rulers over the nations lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.


There arose also a contention among them, which of them was considered to be greatest.


He said to them, *The kings of the nations lord it over them, and those who have authority over them are called 'benefactors.'


In love of the brothers be tenderly affectionate one to another; in honor preferring one another;


doing nothing through rivalry or through conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than himself;


Or do you think that the Scripture says in vain, *The Spirit who lives in us yearns jealously*?
