Get wisdom. Get understanding. Don't forget, neither swerve from the words of my mouth.


But you who forsake the LORD, who forget my holy mountain, who prepare a table for Fortune, and who fill up mixed wine to Destiny;


When anyone hears the word of the Kingdom, and doesn't understand it, the evil one comes, and snatches away that which has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown by the roadside.


As he sowed, some seeds fell by the roadside, and the birds came and devoured them.


These are the ones by the road, where the word is sown; and when they have heard, immediately Hasatan comes, and takes away the word which has been sown in them.


Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God.


Those on the rock are they who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; but these have no root, who believe for a while, then fall away in time of temptation.


*The farmer went out to sow his seed. As he sowed, some fell along the road, and it was trampled under foot, and the birds of the sky devoured it.


The great dragon was thrown down, the old serpent, he who is called the devil and Hasatan, the deceiver of the whole world. He was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
