But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought our shalom was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.


Then he released to them Bar-Abba, but Yeshua he flogged and delivered to be crucified.


Pilate, wishing to please the multitude, released Bar-Abba to them, and handed over Yeshua, when he had flogged him, to be crucified.


Now he had to release one prisoner to them at the feast.


He said to them the third time, *Why? What evil has this man done? I have found no capital crime in him. I will therefore chastise him and release him.*
