Isn't this the fast that I have chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, and to let the oppressed go free, and that you break every yoke?
One of the Torah scholars answered him, *Rabbi, in saying this you insult us also.*
Woe to you Torah scholars! For you took away the key of knowledge. You didn't enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in, you hindered.*
For even they who receive circumcision don't keep the Torah themselves, but they desire to have you circumcised, that they may boast in your flesh.
