Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt offering, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.


Let my prayer be set before you like incense; the lifting up of my hands like the evening sacrifice.


He said to Moshe, *Come up to the LORD, you, and Aharon, Nadav, and Avihu, and seventy of the elders of Yisra'el; and worship from a distance.


Then Moshe, Aharon, Nadav, Avihu, and seventy of the elders of Yisra'el went up.


You shall make its pots to take away its ashes, its shovels, its basins, its flesh hooks, and its fire pans: all its vessels you shall make of brass.


*Bring Aharon your brother, and his sons with him, near to you from among the children of Yisra'el, that he may minister to me in the Kohen's office, even Aharon, Nadav and Avihu, El`azar and Itamar, Aharon's sons.

He made all the vessels of the altar, the pots, the shovels, the basins, the forks, and the fire pans. He made all its vessels of brass.

in that you provoke me to anger with the works of your hands, burning incense to other gods in the land of Egypt, where you are gone to sojourn; that you may be cut off, and that you may be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?


They have built the high places of Tofet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I didn't command, nor did it come into my mind.


The LORD spoke to Moshe, after the death of the two sons of Aharon, when they drew near before the LORD, and died;


He shall take a censer full of coals of fire from off the altar before the LORD, and two handfuls of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the veil:


*'They shall therefore keep my charge, lest they bear sin for it, and die therein, if they profane it. I am the LORD who sanctifies them.


There came forth fire from before the LORD, and consumed the burnt offering and the fat upon the altar: and when all the people saw it, they shouted, and fell on their faces.


Moshe said to Aharon, Take your censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and lay incense thereon, and carry it quickly to the congregation, and make atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the LORD; the plague is begun.


Nadav and Avihu died, when they offered strange fire before the LORD.


*Don't cut off the tribe of the families of the Kehati from among the Levites;


Whatever thing I command you, that shall you observe to do: you shall not add thereto, nor diminish from it.


and has gone and served other gods, and worshiped them, or the sun, or the moon, or any of the army of the sky, which I have not commanded;


You shall not add to the word which I command you, neither shall you diminish from it, that you may keep the mitzvot of the LORD your God which I command you.


having a golden altar of incense, and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which was a golden pot holding the manna, Aharon's rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant;
