They kept this saying to themselves, questioning what the *rising from the dead* meant.
They understood none of these things. This saying was hidden from them, and they didn't understand the things that were said.
But they didn't understand this saying. It was concealed from them, that they should not perceive it, and they were afraid to ask him about this saying.
His talmidim didn't understand these things at first, but when Yeshua was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written about him, and that they had done these things to him.

T'oma said to him, *Lord, we don't know where you are going. How can we know the way?*

Therefore Yeshua perceived that they wanted to ask him, and he said to them, *Do you inquire among yourselves concerning this, that I said, 'A little while, and you won't see me, and again a little while, and you will see me?'
But now I am going to him who sent me, and none of you asks me, 'Where are you going?'
