It was so, when the days of their feasting had run their course, that Iyov sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Iyov said, *It may be that my sons have sinned, and renounced God in their hearts.* Thus did Iyov continually.
I will wash my hands in innocence, so I will go about your altar, LORD;
The LORD said to Moshe, *Go to the people, and sanctify them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments,
*Say to the children of Yisra'el, 'If any man of you or of your generations is unclean by reason of a dead body, or is on a journey far away, he shall still keep the Pesach to the LORD.
There were certain men, who were unclean because of the dead body of a man, so that they could not keep the Pesach on that day, and they came before Moshe and before Aharon on that day.
It happened, when Yeshua had finished all these words, that he said to his talmidim,
*You know that after two days the Pesach is coming, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified.*
It was now two days before the feast of the Pesach and the matzah, and the chief Kohanim and the scribes sought how they might seize him by deception, and kill him.
Then six days before the Pesach, Yeshua came to Beit-Anyah, where El'azar was, who had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.
Now before the feast of the Pesach, Yeshua, knowing that his time had come that he would depart from this world to the Father, having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.
They led Yeshua therefore from Kayafa into the Praetorium. It was early, and they themselves didn't enter into the Praetorium, that they might not be defiled, but might eat the Pesach.
Now there were six water pots of stone set there after the Jewish manner of purifying, containing two or three metretes apiece.
After these things, there was a Jewish festival, and Yeshua went up to Yerushalayim.
