Do you see a man wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.


Then the chief Kohanim, the scribes, and the elders of the people were gathered together in the court of the Kohen Gadol, who was called Kayafa.


in the Kohanim Gedolim of Anan and Kayafa, the word of God came to Yochanan, the son of Zekharyah, in the wilderness.


Now he didn't say this of himself, but being Kohen Gadol that year, he prophesied that Yeshua would die for the nation,


Anan the Kohen Gadol was there, with Kayafa, Yochanan, Alexander, and as many as were relatives of the Kohen Gadol.


Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the Torah scholar of this world? Hasn't God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
