Then Elifaz the Temanite answered,

Now when Iyov's three friends heard of all this evil that had come on him, they each came from his own place: Elifaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuchite, and Tzofar the Na`amatite, and they made an appointment together to come to sympathize with him and to comfort him.

Then Elifaz the Temanite answered,

I am not at ease, neither am I quiet, neither have I rest; but trouble comes.*

*If someone ventures to talk with you, will you be grieved? But who can withhold himself from speaking?

So Elifaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuchite and Tzofar the Na`amatite went, and did what the LORD commanded them, and the LORD accepted Iyov.

Then Bildad the Shuchite answered,

Of Edom. Thus says the LORD of Armies: Is wisdom no more in Teman? is counsel perished from the prudent? is their wisdom vanished?
