Jeremiah 29:16
11 Tagairtí Cros

Tzidkiyahu was twenty-one years old when he began to reign; and he reigned eleven years in Yerushalayim:

One basket had very good figs, like the figs that are first-ripe; and the other basket had very bad figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad.

As the bad figs, which can't be eaten, they are so bad, surely thus says the LORD, So will I give up Tzidkiyahu the king of Yehudah, and his princes, and the residue of Yerushalayim, who remain in this land, and those who dwell in the land of Egypt,

by the hand of El`asah the son of Shafan, and Gemaryah the son of Chilkiyah, (whom Tzidkiyahu king of Yehudah sent to Bavel to Nevukhadnetzar 1 king of Bavel), saying,

Therefore have I poured out my indignation on them; I have consumed them with the fire of my wrath: their own way have I brought on their heads, says the Lord GOD.
