Avram said, *Behold, to me you have given no seed: and, behold, one born in my house is my heir.*


One law shall be to him who is born at home, and to the stranger who lives as a foreigner among you.*


You shall tell Par`oh, 'Thus says the LORD, Yisra'el is my son, my firstborn,


I bought male servants and female servants, and had servants born in my house. I also had great possessions of herds and flocks, above all who were before me in Yerushalayim;


Thus says the LORD, Where is the bill of your mother's divorce, with which I have put her away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities were you sold, and for your transgressions was your mother put away.


You, even of yourself, shall discontinue from your heritage that I gave you; and I will cause you to serve your enemies in the land which you don't know: for you have kindled a fire in my anger which shall burn forever.


It shall happen, when you shall say, Why has the LORD our God done all these things to us? then shall you say to them, Like as you have forsaken me, and served foreign gods in your land, so shall you serve strangers in a land that is not yours.
