It happened, when Yoram saw Yehu, that he said, Is it shalom, Yehu? He answered, What shalom, so long as the prostitution of your mother Izevel and her witchcraft abound?


Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them; for the deeds of his hands will be paid back to him.


There is no shalom, says the LORD, to the wicked.


But I said, I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for nothing and vanity; yet surely the justice [due] to me is with the LORD, and my recompense with my God.


The way of shalom they don't know; and there is no justice in their goings: they have made them crooked paths; whoever goes therein does not know shalom.


[to wit], the prophets of Yisra'el who prophesy concerning Yerushalayim, and who see visions of shalom for her, and there is no shalom, says the Lord GOD.
