Hebrews 10:4

For you don't delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it. You have no pleasure in burnt offering.


He who kills an ox is as he who kills a man; he who sacrifices a lamb, as he who breaks a dog's neck; he who offers an offering, [as he who offers] pig's blood; he who burns frankincense, as he who blesses an idol. Yes, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations:


To what purpose comes there to me frankincense from Sheva, and the sweet cane from a far country? your burnt offerings are not acceptable, nor your sacrifices pleasing to me.


Take words with you, and return to the LORD. Tell him, *Forgive all our sins, and accept that which is good: so we offer our lips like bulls.


For I desire mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.


and to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is more important than all whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.*


The next day, he saw Yeshua coming to him, and said, *Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!


This is my covenant to them, when I will take away their sins.*


For the Torah, having a shadow of the good to come, not the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices year by year, which they offer continually, make perfect those who draw near.


Every Kohen indeed stands day by day serving and often offering the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins,


Previously saying, *Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you didn't desire, neither had pleasure in them* (those which are offered according to the Torah),


which is a symbol of the present age, where gifts and sacrifices are offered that are incapable, concerning the conscience, of making the worshipper perfect;


You know that he was revealed to take away our sins, and in him is no sin.
