These are the sons of Esav (that is, Edom), and these are their chiefs.


Esav took his wives from the daughters of Kena`an: `Adah the daughter of Elon, the Chittite; and Oholivamah the daughter of `Anah, the daughter of Tziv`on, the Chivvi;


Dishon, Etzer, and Dishan. These are the chiefs who came of the Chori, the children of Se`ir in the land of Edom.


The Chori also lived in Se`ir before, but the children of Esav succeeded them; and they destroyed them from before them, and lived in their place; as Yisra'el did to the land of his possession, which the LORD gave to them.)
