The angel of God said to me in the dream, 'Ya`akov,' and I said, 'Here I am.'
Rachel and Le'ah answered him, *Is there yet any portion or inheritance for us in our father's house?
The LORD said to Ya`akov, *Return to the land of your fathers, and to your relatives, and I will be with you.*
Ya`akov said, *God of my father Avraham, and God of my father Yitzchak, the LORD, who said to me, 'Return to your country, and to your relatives, and I will do you good,'
God said to Ya`akov, *Arise, go up to Beit-El, and live there. Make there an altar to God, who appeared to you when you fled from the face of Esav your brother.*
He built an altar there, and called the place El-Beit-El; because there God was revealed to him, when he fled from the face of his brother.
