Moshe said to God, *Who am I, that I should go to Par`oh, and that I should bring forth the children of Yisra'el out of Egypt?*
Moshe answered, *But, behold, they will not believe me, nor listen to my voice; for they will say, 'The LORD has not appeared to you.'*
Moshe spoke before the LORD, saying, *Behold, the children of Yisra'el haven't listened to me. How then shall Par`oh listen to me, who am of uncircumcised lips?*
Moshe said before the LORD, *Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Par`oh listen to me?*
Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I don't know how to speak; for I am a child.
For I brought you up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage. I sent before you Moshe, Aharon, and Miryam.
Moshe was instructed in all the wisdom of the Egyptians. He was mighty in his words and works.
For, *His letters,* they say, *are weighty and strong, but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech is despised.*
But though I am unskilled in speech, yet I am not unskilled in knowledge. No, in every way we have been revealed to you in all things.
