Then David the king went in, and sat before the LORD; and he said, Who am I, Lord GOD, and what is my house, that you have brought me thus far?


Now, LORD my God, you have made your servant king instead of David my father: and I am but a little child; I don't know how to go out or come in.


Give your servant therefore an understanding heart to judge your people, that I may discern between good and evil; for who is able to judge this your great people?


But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come of you, and of your own have we given you.


Moshe spoke before the LORD, saying, *Behold, the children of Yisra'el haven't listened to me. How then shall Par`oh listen to me, who am of uncircumcised lips?*


Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I don't know how to speak; for I am a child.
