The angel of the LORD said to her, *Behold, you are with child, and will bear a son. You shall call his name Yishma'el, because the LORD has heard your affliction.


Adam knew his wife again. She gave birth to a son, and named him Shet, *for God has appointed me another child instead of Hevel, for Kayin killed him.*


Now your two sons, who were born to you in the land of Egypt before I came to you into Egypt, are mine; Efrayim and Menasheh, even as Re'uven and Shim`on, will be mine.


He sent from on high and he took me. He drew me out of many waters.


Par`oh's daughter said to her, *Take this child away, and nurse him for me, and I will give you your wages.* The woman took the child, and nursed it.


She shall bring forth a son. You shall call his name Yeshua, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins.*

By faith, Moshe, when he had grown up, refused to be called the son of Par`oh's daughter,
