when I went forth to the city gate, when I prepared my seat in the street.


Yitro, Moshe' father-in-law, took a burnt offering and sacrifices for God. Aharon came with all of the elders of Yisra'el, to eat bread with Moshe' father-in-law before God.


When Moshe' father-in-law saw all that he did to the people, he said, *What is this thing that you do for the people? Why do you sit alone, and all the people stand around you from morning to evening?*


A throne will be established in loving kindness. One will sit on it in truth, in the tent of David, judging, seeking justice, and swift to do righteousness.


*Let the nations arouse themselves, and come up to the valley of Yehoshafat; for there will I sit to judge all the surrounding nations.


saying, *The scribes and the Perushim sat on Moshe' seat.


or he who exhorts, to his exhorting: he who gives, let him do it with liberality; he who rules, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness.


For this reason you also pay taxes, for they are servants of God's service, attending continually on this very thing.


Tell [of it], you who ride on white donkeys, you who sit on rich carpets, and you who walk by the way.
