Moshe led Yisra'el onward from the Sea of Suf, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.
They took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Yisra'el came to the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt.
When they had departed from Refidim, and had come to the wilderness of Sinai, they encamped in the wilderness; and there Yisra'el encamped before the mountain.
There was no water for the congregation: and they assembled themselves together against Moshe and against Aharon.
Whenever the cloud was taken up from over the Tent, then after that the children of Yisra'el traveled; and in the place where the cloud remained, there the children of Yisra'el encamped.
At the mitzvah of the LORD they encamped, and at the mitzvah of the LORD they traveled. They kept the charge of the LORD, at the mitzvah of the LORD by Moshe.
