He said, *Kena`an is cursed. He will be servant of servants to his brothers.*


*Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land which the LORD your God gives you.


*Anyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death.


Woe to him who says to a father, *What have you become the father of?* or to a woman, *With what do you travail?*


In you have they set light by father and mother; in the midst of you have they dealt by oppression with the foreigner; in you have they wronged the fatherless and the widow.


*'Each one of you shall respect his mother and his father. You shall keep my Shabbatot. I am the LORD your God.


*'For everyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death: he has cursed his father or his mother; his blood shall be upon him.


*Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God commanded you; that your days may be long, and that it may go well with you, in the land which the LORD your God gives you.
