Then he said, *Do you know why I have come to you? Now I will return to fight with the prince of Paras. When I go forth, behold, the prince of Greece shall come.
Now will I show you the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Paras; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and when he has grown strong through his riches, he shall stir up all against the realm of Greece.
A mighty king shall stand up, who shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.
After you shall arise another kingdom inferior to you; and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.
After this I saw, and behold, another, like a leopard, which had on its back four wings of a bird; the animal had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.
The ram which you saw, that had the two horns, they are the kings of Madai and Paras.
As for that which was broken, in the place where four stood up, four kingdoms shall stand up out of the nation, but not with his power.
For indeed I bend Yehudah as a bow for me. I have filled the bow with Efrayim; and I will stir up your sons, Tziyon, against your sons, Greece, and will make you like the sword of a mighty man.
