A wrathful man stirs up contention, but one who is slow to anger appeases strife.


Those who had taken Yeshua led him away to Kayafa the Kohen Gadol, where the scribes and the elders were gathered together.


But I tell you, that everyone who is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment; and whoever shall say to his brother, 'You good-for-nothing!' shall be in danger of the council; and whoever shall say, 'You fool!' shall be in danger of the fire of Gehinnom.


It happened on one of those days, as he was teaching the people in the temple and preaching the Good News, that the Kohanim and scribes came to him with the elders.


But the Jews stirred up the devout and prominent women and the chief men of the city, and stirred up a persecution against Sha'ul and Bar-Nabba, and threw them out of their borders.


But the disbelieving Jews stirred up and embittered the souls of the Gentiles against the brothers.


But when the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word of God was proclaimed by Sha'ul at Beroea also, they came there likewise, agitating the multitudes.
