When your days are fulfilled, and you shall sleep with your fathers, I will set up your seed after you, who shall proceed out of your bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.


Otherwise it will happen, when my lord the king shall sleep with his fathers, that I and my son Shlomo shall be counted offenders.


The days which Yarov`am reigned were two and twenty years: and he slept with his fathers, and Nadav his son reigned in his place.


Rechav`am slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David: and his mother's name was Na`amah the `Ammonite. Aviyam his son reigned in his place.

In the three and twentieth year of Yo'ash the son of Achazyah, king of Yehudah, Yeho'achaz the son of Yehu began to reign over Yisra'el in Shomron, [and reigned] seventeen years.


Yeho'achaz slept with his fathers; and they buried him in Shomron: and Yo'ash his son reigned in his place.
