Then Eliyahu said to the people, *I, even I only, am left a prophet of the LORD; but Ba`al's prophets are four hundred fifty men.
and Eliyahu said to them, Take the prophets of Ba`al; don't let one of them escape. They took them; and Eliyahu brought them down to the brook Kishon, and killed them there.
They forsook all the mitzvot of the LORD their God, and made them molten images, even two calves, and made an Asherah, and worshiped all the army of the sky, and served Ba`al.
He did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, but not like his father, and like his mother; for he put away the pillar of Ba`al that his father had made.
Why not (as we are slanderously reported, and as some affirm that we say), *Let us do evil, that good may come?* Those who say so are justly condemned.
Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things.
