But the LORD said to David my father, Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart:


*Speak to the children of Yisra'el, that they take an offering for me. From everyone whose heart makes him willing you shall take my offering.


Everyone who did offer an offering of silver and brass brought the LORD's offering; and everyone, with whom was found shittim wood for any work of the service, brought it.


The children of Yisra'el brought a freewill offering to the LORD; every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all the work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by Moshe.


'Take from among you an offering to the LORD. Whoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, the LORD's offering: gold, silver, brass,


That which makes a man to be desired is his kindness. A poor man is better than a liar.


In like manner he also who got the two gained another two.


*He also who got the two talents came and said, 'Lord, you delivered to me two talents. Behold, I have gained another two talents besides them.'


He who is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much. He who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.


But now complete the doing also, that as there was the readiness to be willing, so there may be the completion also out of your ability.


For this is not that others may be eased and you distressed,


Not only so, but who was also appointed by the assemblies to travel with us in this grace, which is served by us to the glory of the Lord himself, and to show our readiness.


Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart; not grudgingly, or under compulsion; for God loves a cheerful giver.


As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God in its various forms.
