Shlomo's builders and Chiram's builders and the Givli did fashion them, and prepared the timber and the stones to build the house.


In the fourth year was the foundation of the house of the LORD laid, in the month Ziv.


In the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the eighth month, was the house finished throughout all the parts of it, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he seven years in building it.


The house, when it was in building, was built of stone made ready at the quarry; and there was neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house, while it was in building.


They didn't depart from the mitzvah of the king to the Kohanim and Levites concerning any matter, or concerning the treasures.


Then went Shlomo to `Etzyon-Gever, and to Elot, on the seashore in the land of Edom.
