It was so, that, when those who bore the ark of the LORD had gone six paces, he sacrificed an ox and a fattened calf.


King Shlomo and all the congregation of Yisra'el, who were assembled to him, were with him before the ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen, that could not be counted nor numbered for multitude.


They sacrificed sacrifices to the LORD, and offered burnt offerings to the LORD, on the next day after that day, even one thousand bulls, one thousand rams, and one thousand lambs, with their drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Yisra'el,


and they brought up the ark, and the tent of meeting, and all the holy vessels that were in the Tent; these did the Kohanim the Levites bring up.


The Kohanim brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD to its place, into the oracle of the house, to the most holy place, even under the wings of the Keruvim.
