Chizkiyahu slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the ascent of the tombs of the sons of David: and all Yehudah and the inhabitants of Yerushalayim did him honor at his death. Menasheh his son reigned in his place.
Woe to you, land, when your king is a child, and your princes eat in the morning!
As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over them. My people, those who lead you cause you to err, and destroy the way of your paths.
I will give boys to be their princes, and children shall rule over them.
I will cause them to be tossed back and forth among all the kingdoms of the earth, because of Menasheh, the son of Chizkiyahu, king of Yehudah, for that which he did in Yerushalayim.
Chizkiyahu became the father of Menasheh. Menasheh became the father of Amon. Amon became the father of Yoshiyahu.
