Adoniyahu killed sheep and oxen and fatlings by the stone of Zochelet, which is beside `En-Rogel; and he called all his brothers, the king's sons, and all the men of Yehudah, the king's servants:


It happened after a while, that the brook dried up, because there was no rain in the land.


Ben-Gever, in Ramot Gil`ad (to him [pertained] the towns of Ya'ir the son of Menasheh, which are in Gil`ad; [even] to him [pertained] the region of Argov, which is in Bashan, sixty great cities with walls and bronze bars);


Elisha the prophet called one of the sons of the prophets, and said to him, Gird up your waist, and take this vial of oil in your hand, and go to Ramot Gil`ad.


Ach'av king of Yisra'el said to Yehoshafat king of Yehudah, Will you go with me to Ramot Gil`ad? He answered him, I am as you are, and my people as your people; and [we will be] with you in the war.

[namely], Betzer in the wilderness, in the plain country, for the Re'uveni; and Ramot in Gil`ad, for the Gadi; and Galon in Bashan, for the Manashi.


Beyond the Yarden at Yericho eastward, they assigned Betzer in the wilderness in the plain out of the tribe of Re'uven, and Ramot in Gil`ad out of the tribe of Gad, and Galon in Bashan out of the tribe of Menasheh.
