Whereupon the king took counsel, and made two calves of gold; and he said to them, It is too much for you to go up to Yerushalayim: see your gods, Yisra'el, which brought you up out of the land of Egypt.


This thing became a sin; for the people went [to worship] before the one, even to Dan.


He went up to the altar which he had made in Beit-El on the fifteenth day in the eighth month, even in the month which he had devised of his own heart: and he ordained a feast for the children of Yisra'el, and went up to the altar, to burn incense.


Shlomo loved the LORD, walking in the statutes of David his father: only he sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places.


As for you, if you will walk before me, as David your father walked, in integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have commanded you, and will keep my statutes and my ordinances;


Also Yehudah didn't keep the mitzvot of the LORD their God, but walked in the statutes of Yisra'el which they made.

Finally then, brothers, we beg and exhort you in the Lord Yeshua, that as you received from us how you ought to walk and to please God, that you abound more and more.
