He said, Whether they are come out for shalom, take them alive, or whether they are come out for war, taken them alive.
They killed everyone his man; and the Syrians fled, and Yisra'el pursued them: and Ben-Hadad the king of Syria escaped on a horse with horsemen.
So Yo'av and the people who were with him drew near before the Syrians to the battle; and they fled before him.
