The king, and all Yisra'el with him, offered sacrifice before the LORD.
[David] made him houses in the city of David; and he prepared a place for the ark of God, and pitched for it a tent.
and said to them, You are the heads of the fathers' [houses] of the Levites: sanctify yourselves, both you and your brothers, that you may bring up the ark of the LORD, the God of Yisra'el, to [the place] that I have prepared for it.
David assembled all Yisra'el at Yerushalayim, to bring up the ark of the LORD to its place, which he had prepared for it.
When David had made an end of offering the burnt offering and the shalom offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.
But David had brought the ark of God up from Kiryat-Ye`arim to the place that David had prepared for it; for he had pitched a tent for it at Yerushalayim.
Arise, LORD, into your resting place; you, and the ark of your strength.
He shall offer from the sacrifice of shalom offerings an offering made by fire to the LORD; its fat, the entire tail fat, he shall take away close to the backbone; and the fat that covers the inwards, and all the fat that is on the inwards,
