And she said to the king, “The report was true that I heard in my own land of your words and of your wisdom,


but I did not believe the reports until I came and my own eyes had seen it. And behold, the half was not told me. Your wisdom and prosperity surpass the report that I heard.


May my meditation be pleasing to him, for I rejoice in the Lord.


For your steadfast love is before my eyes, and I walk in your faithfulness.


I have not hidden your deliverance within my heart; I have spoken of your faithfulness and your salvation; I have not concealed your steadfast love and your faithfulness from the great congregation.


And of Zion it shall be said, “This one and that one were born in her”; for the Most High himself will establish her.


Draw me after you; let us run. The king has brought me into his chambers. We will exult and rejoice in you; we will extol your love more than wine; rightly do they love you.


In the path of your judgments, O Lord, we wait for you; your name and remembrance are the desire of our soul.


The whole valley of the dead bodies and the ashes, and all the fields as far as the brook Kidron, to the corner of the Horse Gate toward the east, shall be sacred to the Lord. It shall not be plucked up or overthrown anymore forever.”
