So in the lowest parts of the space behind the wall, in open places, I stationed the people by their clans, with their swords, their spears, and their bows.


The wicked borrows but does not pay back, but the righteous is generous and gives;


A good man obtains favor from the Lord, but a man of evil devices he condemns.


One who lacks sense gives a pledge and puts up security in the presence of his neighbor.


Whoever is slack in his work is a brother to him who destroys.


So you will walk in the way of the good and keep to the paths of the righteous.


Prepare your work outside; get everything ready for yourself in the field, and after that build your house.


Now there was a man named Joseph, from the Jewish town of Arimathea. He was a member of the council, a good and righteous man,


But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.


And when they had eaten their fill, he told his disciples, “Gather up the leftover fragments, that nothing may be lost.”


for he was a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith. And a great many people were added to the Lord.

Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise,


And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment,


Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, making the best use of the time.
