And Abimelech said to Isaac, “Go away from us, for you are much mightier than we.”


And she said to Elijah, “What have you against me, O man of God? You have come to me to bring my sin to remembrance and to cause the death of my son!”


And behold, all the city came out to meet Jesus, and when they saw him, they begged him to leave their region.


“What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are—the Holy One of God.”


And crying out with a loud voice, he said, “What have you to do with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I adjure you by God, do not torment me.”


But when Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord.”


Then all the people of the surrounding country of the Gerasenes asked him to depart from them, for they were seized with great fear. So he got into the boat and returned.


So they came and apologized to them. And they took them out and asked them to leave the city.


Now therefore why should we die? For this great fire will consume us. If we hear the voice of the Lord our God any more, we shall die.
