Then Joab arose and went to Absalom at his house and said to him, “Why have your servants set my field on fire?”
Joab said, “I will not waste time like this with you.” And he took three javelins in his hand and thrust them into the heart of Absalom while he was still alive in the oak.
He said, “Throw her down.” So they threw her down. And some of her blood spattered on the wall and on the horses, and they trampled on her.
And Samson said to them, “This time I shall be innocent in regard to the Philistines, when I do them harm.”
