As for my sacrificial offerings, they sacrifice meat and eat it, but the Lord does not accept them. Now he will remember their iniquity and punish their sins; they shall return to Egypt.


And when you eat and when you drink, do you not eat for yourselves and drink for yourselves?


And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.


And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts,


But in the following instructions I do not commend you, because when you come together it is not for the better but for the worse.


for there must be factions among you in order that those who are genuine among you may be recognized.


For in eating, each one goes ahead with his own meal. One goes hungry, another gets drunk.


not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.


suffering wrong as the wage for their wrongdoing. They count it pleasure to revel in the daytime. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their deceptions, while they feast with you.


These are hidden reefs at your love feasts, as they feast with you without fear, shepherds feeding themselves; waterless clouds, swept along by winds; fruitless trees in late autumn, twice dead, uprooted;
