\{This will make the priest unclean.\} After the priest has been made clean, he must wait seven days.


“When a person offers a bird as a burnt offering to the Lord, then that bird must be a dove or a young pigeon.


“After the time for being made clean [150] is finished, the new mother of a baby girl or boy must bring special sacrifices to the Meeting Tent. [151] She must give those sacrifices to the priest at the entrance of the Meeting Tent. She must bring a one-year-old lamb for a burnt offering and a dove or young pigeon for a sin offering.


He must offer one of these birds as a sin offering and the other bird as a burnt offering. He must offer the birds with the grain offering. In this way, the priest will make that person pure [211] before the Lord. And that person will become clean. [212] ”


On the eighth day, that person must take for himself two doves or two young pigeons. He must come before the Lord at the entrance of the Meeting Tent. [245] That person will give the two birds to the priest.


Then on the eighth day, the woman must take two doves or two young pigeons. She must bring them to the priest at the entrance of the Meeting Tent. [254]


Jesus was given to die for our sins. And he was raised from death to make us right with God.
