The man who was dressed in linen {\cf2\super [135]} was standing over the water in the river. One of the two people said to him, ‘How long will it be before these amazing things come true?’


“I heard the answer, but I really didn’t understand. So I asked, ‘Sir, what will happen after all these things come true?’


Later, Jesus was sitting at a place on the Mount of Olives. {\cf2\super [364]} The followers came to be alone with Jesus. They said, “Tell us when these things will happen. And what will happen to show us that it is time for you to come again and time for the world {\cf2\super [365]} to end?”


“You will see ‘the terrible thing that causes destruction.’ {\cf2\super [185]} You will see this thing standing in the place where it should not be.” (You that read this should understand what it means.) “At that time, the people in Judea should run away to the mountains.


“I tell you the truth. All these things will happen while people of this time are still living!


But Jesus said, “The time will come when all that you see here will be destroyed. Every stone \{of these buildings\} will be thrown down to the ground. Not one stone will be left on another!”


Jesus said, “Be careful! Don’t be fooled. Many people will come using my name. They will say, ‘I am \{the Christ {\cf2\super [332]} \}’ and, ‘The right time has come!’ But don’t follow them.
