The Lord had commanded that he get this land. So they gave Joshua the town of Timnath Serah [69] in the hill country of Ephraim. This was the town that Joshua told them he wanted. So Joshua built the town stronger and lived there.


After that Joshua son of Nun died. Joshua was 110 years old.


There was a man named Micah that lived in the hill country of Ephraim.


From that place, the 600 men traveled on to the hill country of Ephraim. Then they came to Micah’s house.


The people of Israel buried Joshua. They buried Joshua on the land that he had been given. That was at Timnath Heres, in the hill country of Ephraim, north of Mount Gaash.
