In this way the Lord spoke to Moses face to face. The Lord spoke to Moses like a man speaks with his friend. After speaking with the Lord, Moses would go back to the camp. But his helper always stayed in the tent. This helper was Joshua son of Nun.
And the Lord did what Moses asked. The frogs died in the houses, in the yards, and in the fields.
This is the same Moses that said these words to the Jewish people: ‘God will give you a prophet. {\cf2\super [139]} That prophet will come from among your own people. He will be like me.’ {\cf2\super [140]}
The Lord sent Moses to do powerful miracles in the land of Egypt. Pharaoh, all his officers, and all the people in Egypt saw those miracles.
