And thou shalt give him precepts in the sight of all, and part of thy glory, that all the congregation of the children of Israel may hear him.


Command Josue, and encourage and strengthen him. For he shall go before this people: and shall divide unto them the land which thou shalt see.


And the Lord commanded Josue the son of Nun, and said: Take courage, and be valiant: for thou shalt bring the children of Israel into the land which I have promised, and I will be with thee.


The Lord thy God then will pass over before thee: he will destroy all these nations in thy sight, and thou shalt possess them. And this Josue shall go over before thee, as the Lord hath spoken.


And say to Archippus: Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.


I charge thee before God, and Christ Jesus, and the elect angels, that thou observe these things without prejudice, doing nothing by declining to either side.
