And the priest, the son of Aaron, shall be with the Levites in the tithes of the Levites; and the Levites shall offer the tithe of their tithes in the house of our God, to the storeroom into the treasure house.


And all Juda brought the tithe of the corn, and the wine, and the oil into the storehouses.


All tithes of the land, whether of corn, or of the fruits of trees, are the Lord's, and are sanctified to him.


And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:


Command the Levites, and declare unto them: When you shall receive of the children of Israel the tithes, which I have given you, offer the first-fruits of them to the Lord, that is to say, the tenth part of the tenth.


And all that were numbered, were twenty-three thousand males from one month old and upward. For they were not reckoned up among the children of Israel, neither was a possession given to them with the rest.


Wherefore Levi hath no part nor possession with his brethren: because the Lord himself is his possession, as the Lord thy God promised him.


When thou hast made an end of tithing all thy fruits, in the third year of tithes thou shalt give it to the Levite, and to the stranger, and to the fatherless, and to the widow, that they may eat within thy gates, and be filled.


But to the tribe of Levi he gave no possession: but the sacrifices and victims of the Lord God of Israel, are his inheritance, as he spoke to him.
