The sorrows of death surrounded me: and the torrents of iniquity troubled me.


Many men are called merciful: but who shall find a faithful man?


The heart is perverse above all things and unsearchable. Who can know it?


But after I shall be risen again, I will go before you into Galilee.


Jesus said to him: Amen I say to thee, that in this night before the cock crow, thou wilt deny me thrice.


But Peter saith to him: Although all shall be scandalized in thee, yet not I.


Who said to him: Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.


When therefore they had dined, Jesus saith to Simon Peter: Simon son of John, lovest thou me more than these? He saith to him: Yea, Lord, thou knowest that I love thee. He saith to him: Feed my lambs.


Loving one another with the charity of brotherhood, with honour preventing one another.


Let nothing be done through contention, neither by vain glory: but in humility, let each esteem others better than themselves:
