And behold a great tempest arose in the sea, so that the boat was covered with waves, but he was asleep.


And seeing them labouring in rowing, (for the wind was against them,) and about the fourth watch of the night, he cometh to them walking upon the sea, and he would have passed by them.


And the sea arose, by reason of a great wind that blew.


For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith. And a great multitude was added to the Lord.


And when we had launched from thence, we sailed under Cyprus, because the winds were contrary.
