Then Amasias king of Juda, taking very bad counsel, sent to Joas the son of Joachaz the son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying: Come, let us see one another.


Seven days shall you eat unleavened bread. In the first day there shall be no leaven in your houses: whosoever shall eat any thing leavened, from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall perish out of Israel.


And when he was twelve years old, they going up into Jerusalem, according to the custom of the feast,


And thinking that he was in the company, they came a day's journey, and sought him among their kinsfolks and acquaintance.
